AZE set up and operates Web-Based Account Server for customers in worldwide (Fig: AZE Accounting Server System schematic).
The Accounting Server provides users with accurate, trustable, and traceable records of usage and charge.
Every user and Administrator of a customer site can always check his/her or the site’s usage record and
amount charged from the view of per-user or per-software.
AZE Accounting Server supports the following functions;

• Authenticate a user at his/her log-in,
• Count usage of application software when a user runs application software,
• Calculate per-user charge amount of usage according to per-user usage record,
• Calculate per-site charge amount from all user’s charge amounts of a customer site,
• Display per-user usage record as well as per-software usage record for a customer site,
• Keep all of per-user usage records for 5 years.

Administrator assignment in a customer site

A customer site has one account, and a customer site assigns an Administrator (PACS administrator or IT manager, etc)
within the site. The Administrator flexibly registers and manages users of the site (Fig: AZE Accounting Server System schematic).
The user registered by the Administrator can launch AZE VirtualPlace Pay-Per-Use by User ID and Password provided by the Administrator,
and make use of all FDA-approved software in the AZE VirtualPlace Pay-Per-Use with an application software use fee.

Usage record examples

AZE Accounting Server counts every user’s application usage and records his/her usage logs for traceability and accuracy.
By login to the Accounting Server, each user can always see and check his/her usage log and amount used.
Administrator can always see and check all usage logs of all users in the customer site per user or per software as well as total amount used by the users.
As shown in Fig: Usage record screen per user for Administrator, usage record per user includes each user’s Login Date,
Logout Date, Start Time, End Time, User ID, User Name, his/her Dept., Software name used, Machine ID used, Patient ID processed,
Use fee of software used. Administrator can see every user’s usage record and total amount used.

usage record per software shows total (all users in the site) number of times used per software and total amount charged.

Pricing scheme for Pay-Per-Use

Price is set as one time use fee of application software. The pricing is flexible and adjustable per application software.
Viewer software: DICOM Viewer and Film2D, are always free. As long as a case study is saved as a work-list, no second charge is incurred.
Annual Account fee is charged, based on number of users registered per customer account, every year in order for a customer site to keep its account on Account Server.
The fee, however, can be used as an annual credit. Amount charged is deducted from the annual credit first.
