1. Clinical Application Specialist

Overview

The person we are looking for at AZE of America should fit the following profile:

  • MUST have license of Radiological Technologist
  • 3D Advanced Visualization experience
  • Must be computer lover, always catching up with a new technology
  • Must have credits in anatomy
  • Enjoys travel. Could be as much as 50%, or more.
  • Position includes pre sales and post sales activity - Demonstrations, Customer Training, problem solving, etc...
  • Must commute to our Irvine office in CA every day
  • No requirement for language other than English(business level), although Japanese skills would be a big plus.

Duties

  • Conduct pre-sale product demonstrations at customer sites and at tradeshows.
  • Lead and conduct customer training.
  • Work with sales, marketing, and customers to define, recommend, and prioritize new features for evaluation by product management, design, regulatory and engineering teams.
  • Commute with AZE Japan staffs for problem-solving, trouble shooting, product support, etc.
  • Set up and operate our system by yourself at onsite for demo or training.
  • Create clinical marketing materials, training booklet, Clinical users manuals such as white papers and studies that promote AZE products.
  • Establish strong relationships with clinical sites by communicating regularly with them and being responsive.
  • Edit FDA submission documents.
  • Perform basic installation and configuration of AZE products.
  • Comfortable working in a start-up environment.

Education

  • BS or MS, Health Science or related fields.
  • Must have Radiological Technologist license.
  • Must have credits in anatomy.

Skill set should include

  • 3-5 years CT/MR Technologist experience.
  • Thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols, 3D advanced visualization, and healthcare IT (e.g. PACS) workflow.
  • Customer oriented mentality.
  • Knowledge of basic computer graphics with computer operation.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Willingness to travel.

Highly Preferred Skill Sets

  • Experience in teaching clinicians 3D advanced visualization software.
  • Experience presenting clinical /radiology demonstrations to potential customers.

2. Senior Medical Imaging Software Engineer

Overview

  • Perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of medical image processing procedures. Maintain and modify programs written in C++. High quality document to describe the developed program.

Duties

  • Write new program code within company software based on scientific papers.
  • Understand theory of the algorithm and implement them in C++ program within company software.
  • Fully document the code using comments within the code, and associated documents in a company specified format.
  • Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the C++ language in Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Maintain and modify programs in software repository; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes.
  • Test and develop programming modifications.
  • Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
  • Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
  • Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
  • Write and maintain programming documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
  • Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference in company on-line message board.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Ph.D or M.S. of information technology or the relevant major is required.

Skill set should include

  • Three to five years of programming experience is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical image processing in academy or industry setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge in C++ programming is required.
  • Experience in group programming using version control tool is required.
  • Experience in Qt and/or Fox tool kit is a plus.
  • Experience in scientific writing and presentation in medical image processing is a plus.
  • Japanese language is a big plus.

Highly Preferred Skill Sets

  • Knowledge of company programming procedures and programming languages. Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
  • Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications. Knowledge of computer flow charts and of programming logic and codes.
  • Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
  • Work with users requires interpersonal skills.
  • Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
  • Responsibilities may require domestic business trips up to six times a year.
